Where the journey began
What sparked the idea to combine technology with human-centered thinking?
Nidaros started with a simple belief: progress happens when technology serves people — not the other way around.
Founder Gerben Dolsma was applying process automation long before it became a buzzword. In 2008, while supporting ING during the Postbank migration for Opalis (now Microsoft Orchestrator), his team used virtual robots to transfer over one million customers and their products — reliably and at record speed. That moment proved what matters most: not “automation”, but the relief and certainty it creates in real operations.
