Combining Forces: ibanXS and Nidaros

Through its collaboration with Open Banking provider ibanXS, Nidaros now offers its clients access to more than 2,000 European banks, providing an essential and much-requested PSD2/Open Banking solution for automated business processes.

The virtual employees built by Nidaros can now easily and securely send and process payment requests, as well as automatically retrieve bank transactions for further processing — regardless of which bank the customer uses. ibanXS is licensed by De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) to provide these services in a secure and compliant manner.

Nidaros

When Nidaros’ previous PSD2 provider announced it would discontinue its services, the company began searching for a stable, future-proof, and reliable partner. After all, Open Banking is indispensable for automating business processes. Gerben Dolsma, founder and director of Nidaros, explains: “At the end of a fully automated process, you don’t want to still need people to execute a transfer manually.”

It soon became clear that ibanXS was the right partner for Nidaros. The services of ibanXS fit seamlessly with what Nidaros needs to optimally support its clients. Gerben continues: “Our clients benefit directly from this collaboration. Having a partner who grows and thinks along with us is extremely important for both our company and our ambitions.”

ibanXS

Edy Bruinooge, CCO and co-founder of ibanXS, is proud of the new partnership: “Nidaros is a fantastic company. For over 15 years, they’ve been a pioneer in the field of RPA. To provide such a company with access to banking transactions and payment services is truly an honor for ibanXS. Nidaros and ibanXS are a perfect match — two companies that put their clients first and go above and beyond for them. As Aristotle once said: ‘The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.’

Practical Application

Work processes such as retrieving, reading, and processing bank statements can now be easily automated with this solution. Or consider automatically sending reminders that include a payment request after a failed transaction. The actual payment takes place directly between the payer and the customer — without any intervention from Nidaros.
